The Programme for Integrated Child Health (PICH pronounced “pitch”) is the first comprehensive integrated child health programme in the UK. It is a practical one-year course to develop skills and confidence in participants through supported real-world projects. It is highly regarded and is soon to start recruiting for its 5th year in London.
PICH supports trainees to develop knowledge and skills in integrated care – by forming strong links between paediatrics and primary care; and developing a better way of caring for their patients at the centre of services. PICH is a self-directed programme where trainees encounter the real-world obstacles standing in the way of integrated care.
PICH is run as a joint learning programme for both senior paediatric trainees and general practice trainees, but we are open to applications from anyone passionate about child health.
See the flyer below or our website www.pich.org.uk for more details about what to expect if you apply to participate.
The application form is now live at www.pich.org.uk and you submit it online. Applications close 31st July and we will notify applicants mid August.
