The ST1 Induction Day is an annual event for new ST1 trainees in London. It aims to prepare trainees not only to survive, but also to thrive, encouraging them to feel inspired and enthusiastic about their training journey. It welcomes new trainees to the London School of Paediatrics. Sessions include and introduction to training in London and to the London School of Paediatrics, how to survive ST1, survival guides for paediatric emergencies, neonatology and safeguarding and hoe to make the most of your training. There are plenty of opportunities to meet your new colleagues, members of the LSP, and, of course, the post induction social!
The event takes place at the end of August every year at a central London location. Incoming ST1s will be contacted by NHS England in advance of the event
