The School of Paediatrics event of 27th March kicked off Progress fever in NCEL. The new RCPCH curriculum, piloted since September 2017 is being officially launched in August and trainers and trainees across London are enthusiastic to start thinking capability rather than competency. Embracing the concepts of learning outcomes in 11 simplified domains, departments pledged to put training at the core of daily work. Pledges range from handover to ward idol. Progress Champions are being identified in every Trust and North Middlesex team have already launched their “Bringing the curriculum to life” programme. Thank you to everyone for their enthusiasm & energy. Watch this space for updates!
