Come learn to be a NICU Survivalist!
On September 10th & 16th, we will be running our one-day training course at UCLH to support essential survival skills for your time on the NICU. The course is aimed at anyone feeling the terror of an upcoming placement on NICU or would just like to refresh their skills after some time away from neonatal intensive care. The training is FREE and timed to happen within the first 6 weeks of starting your new post. Throughout the day we will cover the basic skills that you need to survive your 6 months on NICU including basics of ventilation, fluid management, cranial ultrasound imaging, inotropes and much, much, more…. with a focus on developing core skills using case scenarios and practical sessions to help translate learning to practice.
