The Purpose

Here is out 2024 Improving Working Lives Guidance. This is intended as a collaborative and constructive document aimed at supporting employers/departments in improving the working lives, wellbeing & retention of their junior doctors.

The Layout

Guidance points are categorised into: Onboarding, Pay, Rostering, Leave and Supervision. Within each category, guidance points are divided into: Mandatory (based on contract) and Best Practice (based on other non-statutory guidance and/or the opinion of our Subgroup).

IWLG-Friendly Trusts

There is an opportunity within the document for key representatives of London NHS Trusts to indicate their agreement with the guidance points by signing and returning to our group. These so called IWLG-friendly trusts will be listed below. Who will be first?
