At a trainee meeting in 2019 the greatest challenges and opportunities were explored and rota issues dominated the dialogue. Lack of flexibility, autonomy, and huge amount of work for rota coordinators. We dream of a future where as highly qualified, hard working dedicated professionals there will never be a doubt whether or not you can attend your own wedding.
We are working on a system of self guided e-rostering led by Priyen Shah to see if we can improve this, we hope to be ready to pilot in 2022.
