An update about OOPs from the Trainees’ Committee / TPD Meeting on 28/04/2020:
For trainees who returned from OOP to support acute services during Covid, their time on OOP will be honoured but they will still have to apply via the normal OOP process. OOPs due to start in September have been processed and approved to go ahead as planned, however there is still a chance HEE could reverse this at a late stage but at present this looks unlikely.
