The London School of Paediatrics Transition to Consultant Regional Training Course covers a range of topic including:
- Life as a new consultant
- What to expect from consultant applications and interviews
- How to develop a service
- The structure of the NHS
- Complaints and serious incidents
- Supporting juniors
The course is spread across 2 days and although attendance at both days is encouraged, we appreciate that this may not always be possible. Day 1 (focus on consultant application and interview) is usually held in late Autumn and day 2 (focus on life as a consultant) is usually held in early spring.
