The dates have been set for the 2019/20 LSP study days at the Royal Society of Medicine. Traditionally pitched at level 2 trainees, but open to all, the RSM days help you update your knowledge of important topics and meet key curriculum competencies that can be difficult to achieve in the workplace. They are also a great way to catch up with colleagues.
We would be grateful if trainees and rota coordinators could work together locally to maximise attendance. The RSM will open up booking for these events as soon as possible. Advance booking via the website is strongly recommended. Please be aware that space is limited and while registration is available on the day, catering is only provided for those who have pre-registered and for popular events entry cannot be guaranteed.
The study days are organised and hosted by trainee volunteers with an interest in that subspecialty (Grid or SPIN, or aspiring towards either of these), supported by the three Curriculum Delivery TPDs: Mando Watson, Caroline Scott-Lang and Jane Runnacles. Trainees have previously found this to be a rewarding experience and it is great for networking as well as a fantastic addition to your CV. If you would like to be involved in organising an RSM study day, please contact the relevant TPD and they will help you:
