Registration is open now for the RSM study day on Mental Health in Children & Young people: a bespoke day focussed on giving paediatric trainees the confidence to deal with mental health concerns most likely to present in acute general paediatrics.
When: Tuesday 16th April 2019
Where: Royal Society of Medicine
Topics will include self harm, acute presentations of eating disorders, depression and anxiety, and medically unexplained symptoms. Workshops will be designed to provide practical skills and advice on brief interventions, managing a young person presenting with psychosis, and the role of technology in mental health.
This day is aimed at ST4-5 trainees, but open to all levels. Psychiatry and GP trainees with an interest in young people’s mental health are also very welcome. Registration available here: https://www.rsm.ac.uk/events/paediatrics-and-child-health/2018-19/pdm12/
Please pre-register for this exciting day – RSM will only cater for those who have registered in advance.
