RSM – Evidence Based Medicine -13th November

Do you have an interest in paediatric research or need a refresher in your critical appraisal skills before your START assessment, MRCPCH exam or consultant interviews? If so, this course is for you.
The Evidence Based Medicine study day at the Royal Society of Medicine (Wednesday, November 13th, 2019) will explore concepts that feature in MRCPCH and START. We will take you through the hierarchy of evidence, interpretation of different study designs (including randomised control trials and observational studies), key statistical methods and research ethics.
We will bring you up to date with recent pivotal research articles in paediatrics. There will also be an opportunity to hear from BMJ and Archives of Disease in Childhood editors on how to get your article published in different sections of the journals.
