The LSP Education team have been working hard on the 20/21 Regional Training Day programme, held in conjunction with the Royal Society of Medicine. COVID unfortunately meant that the summer events had to be cancelled. With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic we are unable to offer face to face training events until January 2021 at the earliest.
We are continuing our partnership with the RSM and are delighted to announce that we will be running a series of all-day online regional training days, to deliver the same high quality sessions from experts in their fields. These will replace the face to face RSM events until we are able to meet in person again.
There will be a small fee of £35 for the day (£25 for RSM members) which will cover admin costs and the tech support needed to run the events. This can be claimed back as usual through the standard study leave processes. We encourage trainees to request the day as study leave to ensure you can enjoy the training events to their fullest. The talks will be recorded and can be accessed by delegates for a month afterwards.
The programme kicks off with the Paediatric Emergency Medicine study day with a new date of 29th October 2020. Trust reps, please share this with your rota coordinators.
