Back due to popular demand…’A Survival Guide to Neonatal Intensive Care’
Come learn to be a NICU Survivalist! In March (23rd) and April (13th) , we will be running two one-day training courses at UCLH to support trainee doctors in essential survival skills to survive and thrive during your time on the NICU. The course is aimed at anyone feeling the terror of an upcoming placement on NICU or would just like to refresh their skills after some time away from neonatal intensive care. The training is FREE and timed to happen within the first 6 weeks of starting your new post. Throughout the day we will cover the basic skills that you need to survive your 6 months on NICU including basics of ventilation, fluid management, cranial ultrasound imaging, inotropes and much, much, more…. with a focus on developing core skills using case scenarios and practical sessions to help translate learning to practice.
