There are a number of research hubs within UHB and links with the University of Birmingham and through these associations, paediatrics has built an impressive portfolio of research work over the years in the areas if neuromuscular medicine, infectious disease, HIV, endocrinology and neonatal medicine.
We are looking to build our capacity and collaborate with Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital. This is a great opportunity for paediatric resident trainee approaching or post CCT to develop their research interest and gain some experience working clinically as a consultant.
