Resources for LTFT in Research
It is possible for academic trainees to train on a less than full time (LTFT) basis. Without doubt, fitting in both academic and clinical paediatric training on a flexible training schedule can be challenging, but there are several trainees who have succeeded. If you are considering less than full time academic training then further advice can be sought from the London School of Paediatrics Trainee Committee (Academic Sub-group) and Academic Training Programme Director. Several clinical research fellowship funders support LTFT training and further resources are available on their websites.
